My favorite costume was when I dressed up as Kiss in the 8th grade lol. It was the last year I went trick or treating.

I loved dressing up as a punk rocker when I was a kid. I dressed up as a punk twice.

One specific year my parents were both unemployed and had little money. My mom collected a bunch of “clean” trash and started wiring into a huge cardboard box and then cut a hole at the top for me to wear the box. I was called “Junk Boy”. I actually won in the top three at my school for best costume.

My favorite Halloween costume as a kid was a black cat because it was easy to make and could be worn each year!

Mostly, for Halloween as a child, I dressed up as a witch. I think I dressed up as Punky Brewster one time which was cool! 🙂

One time I created a mummy costume for myself out of white clothes and a roll of TP. It wasn’t great, but I loved it because I was proud of my creativity to make something out of so little.

While I don’t really have many memories of my childhood, I’ve seen photos of when I was very little and had chicken pox on Halloween. My Momma dressed me as a mouse.

My dad helped my create a homemade invisible man costume in grade school, complete with briefcase, hat, sunglasses, painted gauze wrap to look invisible. It turned out amazing and I loved that no one knew who I was.
